2025/2026 School Year Application process
R-5 welcomes new learners each quarter*.
To enoll, please request a referral from your home high school counselor.
It is best to do this well before the start of a new quarter to ensure there is space.
Quarter Start Dates:
Quarter 1- August 6th, 2025- registration is closed
Quarter 2- October 14th, 2025
Quarter 3- January 7th, 2026
Quarter 4- March 23rd, 2026
Activity fees for the year are $40.00.
Technology fees for the year are $10.00.
If you are needing our Young Parent Program please complete this application to reserve a spot for your child. Please note that spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all spots are filled, you will be placed on a waitlist and contacted when a spot becomes available. We encourage you to come and enroll on July 22nd, regardless of your YPP application status.

Applying does not guarantee admission into R5 High School.
*REQUIREMENTS
- You must be at least 16 years old prior to starting at R-5, unless you are interested in our Young Parents Program as an expecting teen.
- All new students are placed on Candidacy, which means they need to (1) attend school, (2) make academic progress, and (3) follow our respect agreements. Failure to do so will result in being sent back to your home school.
- Students are expected to have a secondary placement: either have a job, attend the Career Center, attend WCCC, or be involved in an internship or apprenticeship.
